older lens'

You'll need an adapter with an optical element built in. You'll loose some light and sharpness using these, but its the only way to have full focus to infinity on those lenses. On a micro four-thirds body, you need no optical element to use it.

Yes, using them now on my GH1 and they are great. I'm not sure what an 'optical element' is. Can you explain, or direct me to a site that carries them? Thanks for the reply!

optical element in this case means an achromat or magnifying glass between the lens and the sensor.

I have one i picked up off of ebay for about $20 (no idea the brand name because it was just a random Chinese company).

It works fine at higher apertures like about f/4 but it gets very soft very quickly after that. Its great if you want that grease/net on the lens sort of dreamy look.

Yeah you don't want FDs on an EOS body.

Best info here. Agreed. You can get a much better image by investing in some better lenses. If not you are not going to see the potential of your camera.
