Hello,

I know a person that wants to sell a CARL ZEISS 50MM 1.8 for ROLLEI SL 35, the lens is very nice but I'm not sure if it could work fine in GH1 / GH2.
I found in ebay an adapter for Rollei QBM to Micro 4/3, not sure about infinite focus.

Do you think that CARL ZEISS lens is worth for using in pana GH2, cost is US$ 200,00

Thanks,
Ulisses

Rollei SL-35 Lens $179 (4/3rds adapter)

This may be old info so maybe you could continue to search for more adapter listings.

Carl Zeiss 50mm f1.8 Auto Planar
The 50mm f1.8 Planar (969 100) is the most frequently encountered normal lens for the SL35 series of cameras. Manufactured in several different cosmetic and operational versions, it has 7 elements in 6 groups, a 45 degree field of view, has f/stops from f/1.8 down to f/16 and takes 49mm filters. The most desirable lenses in the group are those made in West Germany and labeled Carl Zeiss.
Two different versions are shown in the photo. On the right is the Carl Zeiss made in Germany lens. One the left is the licensed by Zeiss, made in Singapore version (969 101).
Lenses can also be encountered labeled Opton and Ifbagon. In addition, the 50 f1.8 Planar can also be found in M42 Mount.

If your lens has the M42 lens mount then you could get an adapter for low cost here :

It will be a good lens, but equivalent to 100mm on 35mm, so a telephoto lens. Better buy is a Contax Zeiss f1.7 50mm with c/y mount. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G lens that.

I bought a minolta adapter, and several used MD or MC mount lenses (including a 50mm 1.4) for around $100 or so. Didn't have to think much at that price, although I'm sure some will say a lens that is 4-10x as much makes better photos.
