A young colleague. Been in the business just on twelve months, bought himself a used FS7 Mk II. Nothing with it, just the body. A good price, AU$2100.00. Wanted to know if he could use it with a B4 lens as he has some sports shoots to cover. I told him yes. Maybe in a push 4K!
So with a trusty old but just serviced Canon SD J17 x7.7 and a second hand MTF, first edition adapter, the full S35 version, not the Super16 one, we set to work. With some scene file tweaking, we came up with a pretty serviceable kit for his HD sports work. Once set up, we jumped into the back street for some test shots. A bit of CA here and there with a bit of fall off but overall for AU$3500 he's up and running for his HD work. Excuse the jerky hand zooms. The B4 is not fitted with a servo power supply yet. That's next.
