OIS on a tripod glitch????

So i havnt had this camera that long now, i got it off a user from this site and its been completely fine untill yesterday when i went out filming and the camera glitched out. I noticed it when filmin so it isnt a playback problem but apart form tht i have no idea what is wrong and any help would be appreciated. There are two glitches around the 2 and 3 second mark:

tape or P2? if, P2 does it play back in the camera OK? this looks like something I've seen in FCP on rare occasion, and I don't know what causes it.
 
sorry i forgot to say, it was shot on p2 and i actualy noticed it when i was filming and it plays back with the gltich on the camera eaxactly the same, nothing to do with final cut.

That is exactly what it looks like to me. It does not look at all like something the P2 capture process would make. It looks like the OIS system jumping around with the use of a tripod. There's a straight line on the curb and the camera paning toward it, of course it would reconfigure itself with a not so smooth movement like it did. Myth Busted!
