HPX250: Offloading P2 With Shot Put Pro, Mac and Lion 10.7.3

I have hit a snag and i want to find out if anyone else has hit the same snag.

I used to be able to offload a 64 GB P2 card with SP Pro and my mac book pro cable with firewire 800 to a hard drive in about 50 minutes with file size verification enabled. I was using a PCD 2 as a card reader.

I recently upgraded to Lion 10.7.3 and SP Pro 4.1.4. I am using the same card refer with the drivers for 10.7 installed on my mac book.

Offload times have increased dramatically with this transition so that a 64 gig card now takes upward of 90 to 100 minutes to offload and sometimes even more.

Has anyone else run into this problem and if you did, how did you solve it, if you did?

Answering my own question sort of...
I ran a series of offload tests with a 32 GB card to 2 different drives connected with FW800 to my laptop and a PCD 2 card reader which duplicated my offload config that gave me fits last week with the exception of the drives. I had different FW 800 drives last week, G drive minis.

I could not duplicate the situation i encountered last week where a 64 gb card would take 2.5 to 3 hours to download. At this point I am placing blame on the drives because that's the only thing I could not test. All my offloads the were done during my subsequent test were all in what I would consider of normal duration given the amount of data and the system making the offload.
