Offloading on MBP

I used to offload my videos with via firewire. But the MPB's have an upgrade to firewire, that isn't supported by the HVX200. I was wondering if any of you have a best solution for offloading. And by "best" I mean cost effective. If you could also point me in the direction of the seller that would be greeat.

Do you mean a macbook pro? Apple recently updated the firmware of certain laptops. I upgraded mine and the HVX through firewire works fine.

On rereading my post I realize that I was pretty damn vague. I recently bought one of the new (medium aged?) MBP's 2.4 ghz, 15 inches etc. I am completely new to apple so again I must set up this disclaimer so you guys realize I'm lost. Anyway I tried offloading from my HVX200 via USB 2.0 but it didn't work. Then I went to the apple store and talked to one of the "Geniuses" and he told me that I needed an adapter if I wished to connect my camera to the computer via firewire, and that he didn't have such an adapter at the store. He said to go to the source, panasonic. He had the full support of his other genius staff so I figured he was right. Anyway I was wondering where I can find that adapter, or any cord, or any way for that matter to offload.
