Probably too late to do whatever you were going to do since you posted your question 6 weeks ago, but I will say yes you can create all the multimedia peripheral content you want as long as it doesn't include actual moving footage of the film.Question re: peripheral content. Right now, Erik Olsen has created some items surrounding his sort, an insurance company, banner ads, etc.
Is it all right to extend this kind of thing to say a TV commercial that goes along with the world of the short?
Quick question: the rule states that we cannot publicly screen the film prior to March 13th, but what about on March 13th? In the next two weeks I will start production on several shorts film for a showcase, and I think that one of them in particular will fit Lossfest well. The showcase however is scheduled for the 13th so I'm not sure if this violates any fest rule.
On the 13th is fine as long as it's not streaming on the internet.
