Just turned up and filmed these guys at a metal gig with four bands - 7D @ 50fps + 50mm 1.4 Nikon lense.
Hadn't planned it... just heard about the gig and turned up - no control whatsover... just available lighting that was pretty much suck.
I was stoked at what I squeezed out considering the complete lack of prep and only filmed four songs - about 20 mins footage all up.
Grabbed one of the songs off their album and managed to kind-of match up some stuff.
Anyway, it just reminded me to just do s**t and stop being too much of preparation nerd and who knows what pleasant suprises you can stumble upon.
