SHORT: OFF THE CLIFF - A film by Elmer Lang

Fabulous...just fabulous (when the mics on).
I've been there....done that.

I can never really put my finger on the "why", but I'm an Elmer Lang fan for life.
It just gets better & better everytime.

Thanks!

Really great work. Loved the ending as well, very nice touch. You always make me think.

On the technical side, I thought your framing for this was right on the money. Some really nice shots in this one.

What can I say? I love your work and this one is no exception. In fact, it's one of my faves.

I think, therefore I scare.

Frequently, one of the qualities of great, innovative art is the fear, confusion and anger it engenders. So be it. Without a doubt my film OFF THE CLIFF has a disturbing subject, but that is why I am a genuine, certified dangerous man, and in the history of art I stand in good company. And not in the back.

Review of OFF THE CLIFF on TriggerStreet.com:

"It is terribly difficult not to deal in ramped-up superlatives when dealing with one of Triggerstreet's finest. Elmer Lang has been a part of this site since the very beginning, and to return after a lengthy hiatus to find him still standing tall, and creating idiosyncratic, potent pieces of thought-provoking performance art is indescribably invigorating. Mid-way through the filmmaking process, we all pause to ensure that we aren't offending anyone, or breaking any rule that may switch off the silent majority. Elmer doesn't bow to such flippant and inconsequential inklings. Perhaps it is down to the fact that I haven't visited Triggerstreet in too long, perhaps it is down to the fact that I haven't sought out Elmer's inevitable dedicated site, but this piece blew me away. I have just watched Off The Cliff in a room full of drunken young men, and it inspired a conversation that lasted almost an hour. As far as I am concerned, this is the reason that Triggerstreet was invented. Bravo, you lanky oddball. I hope you never stop doing what you do."
