Hey all,

I thought I'd post the trailer for my new short film, "Off The Chain," which I shot entirely using the HVX200. Workflow synopsis: three 4 G.B. P2 cards, offloaded to G4 Powerbook with PCMCIA slot. Edited in FCP 5.1.2, w/ use of 1 TB G-Raid Drive, and a 250 Lacie external. Pretty much it. I thought I would post it up here because I have been truly amazed by the work that you all have been putting up here, and the tech support/information contained in this website is truly second to none. Rock on.

The trailer for "Off The Chain" is currently available online at:

Check it out & enjoy!!

I like the dude with jars full of weed.

I think it looks pretty funny. The characters seem very well developed. The footage looks very clean, nothing "spectacular" but not too artistic to draw the attention away from the comedy of the story...

Story idea seemed funny and well thought out, but the lighting does need some work. Most of the shots looked like they were not even lit. I think the project would have benefited from some creative and artistic lighting choices.

I would be interested in seeing more.
