Odyssey7 & Odyssey7Q October 2014 Firmware Update

Downloaded the new firmware and shot some examples. I can review them fine on the 7Q perfectly. However when I go to upload there are no files visible on the SSD, am I missing something here? Picture below. Any help would be much appreciated.

In FS700 4K>UHD mode I've just noticed a fairly large drop in screen brightness when recording. WFM doesn't change just the screen display. When stopping recording the screen brightens again. Odd. Anyone else seeing this? Maybe related to the new power saving tweaks??? Shouldn't happen though.

Just adding that I see this too in this mode. Not a deal breaker for me, but totally understandable that it would be for some. Very weird, kind of sucks.

Anyone else seeing how dark the UHD files are in Premiere Pro on Windows?

Noticably darker gamma than on O7Q or in VLC player.

Any reason why my i7 4970K with dual SLI CUDA and 450mb/sec SSD cant play UHD Prores cleanly? I am seeing 1 frame per 2 seconds. What is the bottleneck do you reckon?

Just to clarify: This is not my editing rig. Rather its my home computer, built for gaming and testing video ideas in the evening.

EDIT: A reboot solved everything.

VLC plays back 1 frame per 2 seconds while PPro plays smoothly at Full resolution and 32 bit color. This is excellent.

No brightness drop here on my unit in 4K Raw to UHD, brightness stays the same in live mode or recording. Camera in Slog2.

Great update, the UHD ProRes looks great on a 5K iMac – many detail and very organic sharpness.
A 2:1 zoom in real 4K would be amazing, may planned for a future update? I don't have any brightness-difference with a 12V battery.
Thanks for the hard work CD.

hmm i'm getting the brightness bug as well... but not when i drop the OLED backlight setting down to LOW. Pretty annoying bug, how can such things pass QC?

glad i'll receive my v-Mount system this week, will definitely solve some issues!

Brightness drop here. Sony NP-F970 batteries.

The drop does not show in false color or any sorts, so i dont care that much about it as of yet. Will be troublesome shooting R&G situations however. Maybe next firmware will fix, or this is a battery issue.

Mitch, am I right in seeing that there are no new recording options for the C500 in this firmware update? I know you mentioned that the Canon features are last priority for completing, but it's a tough pill to swallow given how much more C500 users have to pay for that product key.

Yeah this firmware update for C500 users is just like getting clothes for Christmas when you were 10 years old!! NO FUN
