Odyssey 7Q SSD transfer device, which one is the best/fastest?

Hi guys!
Getting tired of waiting and waiting for my SSD transfers to finish, even in USB3 it can take quite a while to download 3 or 4 SSDs of data. Looking for a faster alternative. Looking at this Highpoint Rocketstor RS5212 at B&H, will it work with the CD SSDs ? Anybody using it with
a Macbook Pro? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...nt_5212_2_bay_thunderbolt_10gb_s_storage.html
Are there other or better alternatives?
Thanks for any advice!

I don't know this model per se, but it is likely fine. While Thunderbolt is in theory up to twice the speed of USB3, we rarely see that much improvement due to other factors, and in fact most people are not saturating the capacity of USB3, which would mean this offers zero improvement.

What usually holds one back is the computer processor itself, the other tasks that computer is engaged in at the time of download, and the storage device that files are being directed to. If you can optimize these then you will see the most improvement. A fast Thunderbolt RAID can do wonders for your download speeds, as can optimizing your computer.

I see a 12V plug. I would check if it runs bus powered too. If it needs external power it's not very suitable for a MBP on location.
