Odyssey 7Q /FS700/A7s multi stream problem

Hi,

I've tried to exhaust all avenues of research and settings in each camera before posting, and I feel like it's something simple/stupid, but I cannot get both cameras to display on the O7Q at the same time. One "bumps" the other off the multi stream. Any ideas on this? Thanks...

Are you in HD video output on both cameras, and at a top frame rate of either 1080p30 or 1080i60?

Is the Odyssey switched into Multi-Stream Monitoring mode?

The output from the A7S is HDMI. In Multi-Stream, HDMI takes the place of SDI A IN, so you need to plug the FS700 into SDI B IN instead.

If you are still having issues please feel free to contact me directly.

BTW, we will be greatly expanding this functionality very soon. One of those many features not listed on our just-published Roadmap that will surprise you.

Thanks Mitch, really appreciate the reply. I had read that for multi stream to work, the SDI A port had to be occupied, so I had not switched up ports. It works now!

FYI, I need to hand this footage off to an editor that doesn't want to deal with s-log, so from a quick test ITU-709 on the FS700 and PP3 on the A7s seem to match reasonably well.

Cheers-
Noah

Please be aware that the Multi-Stream mode is currently only for monitoring, not recording. That will be expanded upon soon.
