Odyssey 7Q Firmware 2.11.110

I have hooked the O7Q up in my suite SDI, both out of the BM UltraStudio and Matrox, as well as several of my cameras the FS700 among them.

And the picture is identical to my $3,000.00 Pro eval monitor and I have found the WF to be very accurate as well.

I see this a s a very great feature in the O7Q, I use it as an eval monitor all the time, I have a desk mount for it for when I am on the road and use it as WF and eval monitor editing from my MBP using TB-SDI BM compact converter. It works great this way. So I am surprised others notice a tint. I know CD has also done extensive testing comparing O7Q color to Pro Monitors.

If you see a definite tint I would contact CD support, as this should not be the case.

There's definitely a green tint on mine. Many others have mentioned this issue and I'm hoping for a fix on that.

I think its even worse if its a quality control issue, rather than a green skewed image that can be corrected.

Not in this update, but we will have such controls very soon. Although given our extensive testing, I would argue that much of what you are seeing is a lack of green saturation (a magenta cast) in your other monitors. It is a problem with most LCDs, even ones that are LED backlit and IPS.
 
Our OLED panels and their calibration is very consistent. We will soon have color adjustments for them and you will be able to dial the look of the screen to your comfort.
