We've bought a couple of the following:

Primary use was for our EVFs (Alphatron EVF-035) however we found that it does also fit the Odyssey 7Q with a few mm to spare if you mount the 7Q upside down and present the BNCs at the top.

It will allow me to do away with the EVF altogether and use purely the 7Q (even for shoulder mount filming), although I should have said that rigged the correct way up, it works like a dream for on the sticks filming (provided your camera's not too high)

Does the O7Q auto flip when mounted upside down - I've not tried that yet. Thought there was some talk of it being enabled in a future firmware???

Quite right, i.e. not yet, but with the firmware release....

Auto flip is in the upcoming firmware. It can be switched off if you want the image flipped, such as underslung on a Steadicam.
