Odd missing / duplicate files on card!

I've had this happen TWICE.. 1st time was not a huge deal, but today it's a big deal. Here's the problem. Using Patriot LX 15GB class 10 card. GH13 hacked with B settings but no 24pN so 60i and slightly higher bitrate than default. Camera records fine.. no problems. Shot a few weddings, no problem. Shot one last weekend and went to check out the files today.

Card filled and said "Card full" during reception... So, I had all the getting rady and ceremony on the card.

I look and it has ONE .MTS file in the stream folder.. BUT the SAME file is repeated over and over and over in multiple copies inside the DCIM folder!

So, it looks like this:
SD\DCIM\DCIM\DCIM\DCIM\DCIM\DCIM\DCIM\DCIM\ and in each DCIM folder there is:
MISC and PRIVATE
Inside each PRIVATE folder is AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM\ and ONE .MTS file. The exact same MTS file in every folder!

I'm trying a data recovery app now.
Anyone seen this?

I've seen it before. Don't really know what makes it happen but I think I turned the camera off and then back on immediately and got this. Kinda like it wasn't finished writing and then tried to boot again.

It never happened again so I'm not really sure why it did that.

Update... Good news. Got all the files back with the free "photorec" software after searching here for a solution. DVXUser RULES...
