$1550 CAD

O'Connor 50D Refurbished (means works better than new) with Peter LiSand Sticks.

Bought from Visual Products for $2724
The price break down was this:
FluidHead O'Connor 50D #5068377 (rebuilt) -- 1,150
Pan Handle Upgrade -- 400
Peter Lisand Tripod with off ground spreader -- 895
Thumb screw foot pads x 3 --- 75
Shipping Tube for Head and Legs -- 170

The kit has been well taken care of in is in the same condition as when I received it Sept 2008.

This kit is Bullet Proof -- Rock Solid with silky smooth panning. This is a true fluid head.

If your looking for a deal, I'm not in that much of a hurry.

This is not an Ebay, "wonder what kind of condition it's really in" deal. Visual Products did an amazing job rebuilding this head and it will work excellent for years to come.

This is the claw ball head which is very versatile. I've mounted it into a Mitchell base on a few jibs with good results.

I'm not looking for the price I paid but don't low ball me and expect a response. Make an offer and we'll go from there.

Please try an refrain from unnecessary posts. I invite any potential buyer to search Google for themselves and compare prices and options.

Lately I've been using these with an AF100 and GH2. They work great. Panning is a breeze, so smooth, just like butter.

These are perfect for studio or location shooting where there is a chance of the tripod being knocked around. Jan242011_0001.jpgJan242011_0017.jpgJan242011_0044.jpgJan242011_0040.jpg

Why don't you just post your asking price?

Thanks Logan, for those that missed it I am asking $1550 CAD. Plus shipping. This is my second tripod and I enjoy using it but I don't need it. So if someone else wants one that is built tough enough to handle anything it's here.

Shawn,

Can you tell me the approximate weight of this tripod head and sticks? I've never used this particular model or any O'Conner tripod head. I'm familiar with Miller's and Sachtler's. Which of these would you say is comparable to the O'Conner 50D?

I will weight the head and let you know. It does have weight to it and that is a good thing, helps ground your camera. As far as comparing it, pick a tripod that has a true fluid head with a stable weight rating of 50 lbs. It has a sliding baseplate to help balance your camera too.

Depending if you are planning on having, using or renting jibs, cranes or dollys on a regular basis where you may want or require a different head, (if you plan on using this head to mount).

Why do I like the head, the smoothness of it is amazing. I like the weight to it because if I'm shooting outside I know my camera is safe in various weather conditions. If I'm shooting in a crowded location where I won't be changing my shooting spot more than 5 times the weight is a bonus in case people get to close and bump or trip over a tripod leg.
