Hi I'm an actor/writer/director from NYC. I make low budget indy features.
I've been writing scripts a long time. I write from the heart. And try to make films that don't add to the confusion in the world.
I didn't get into this profession to have a big career or have a pretzel shaped swimming pool next to Jack Nicholson.
Films literally saved me from the streets of New York.
I believe that films can aspire to art. Filmmakers like Truffaut, Tarkovsky, Terrence Davies, Mike Leigh, Satyajit Ray, Wes Anderson, Cassavettes, have really moved me to my depths.
I'm certainly not comparing myself to these great filmmakers - but as Brecht once said "you can't pretend you haven't seen what you've seen." By which I mean I aspire.....
If yer a DP or camera operator in NYC and want to say hello - say hello
Below are two links to the last 2 features I made.
