NTSC/PAL with HVX200p

Forgive me if this topic has been covered- the search function doesn't work with a term as short as "PAL". What is the story regarding shooting HD footage with the HVX200P that is destined to be broadcast in PAL regions? I realize the conversion from NTSC to PAL is no longer 29.97>25 in HD, but it seems there still is a 24p vs. 25p issue? Can anyone help me sort this out?
 
In HD a lot of things were standardized (color space, recording frame size, etc) but some things are still incompatible (primarily, the frame rates).

So yes, 24P vs. 25P vs. 30P still exists, as does 50i and 60i.

If you want to produce content that will play in both territories, you're going to have to convert from one to the other. There is no way around it.
 
Wish that they would make the HPX-170 a dual standard world camera like the EX-1 but from the latest you have heard Barry, probably not going to happen?

At NAB I lobbied everyone I could find, but I can't say I received many encouraging responses. I say the best we can do is vote in the poll and show them how important this is.
