FS7: NTSC and PAL

Honestly, you have to be careful shooting slow-mo almost anywhere with artificial lighting when you get to really high frame rates(over 60)*. I've seen flicker pop up because of consumer/architectual LED's (not designed for TV/production lighting) and high pressure arc/discharge lighting. I've even had normal household tungsten light bulbs flicker at high enough frame rates.

Yes its always best to shoot a 5 second test.. but generally its safer to shoot in multiples of the countries Hz.. Ive had flicker always shooting 120fps in 50hz locations.. but never ..so far !.. at 100 or 150.... and the opposite way round.. much higher frames rates all bets would be off.. but up to 150 is not really in that league .. but yes agreed a 5 second play back is just the safest way to check.. yes its a myth that tungsten lights won't give you flicker in slo mo.. actually the smaller the worse.. over 2K is usually ok as the filament is big enough not to cool down too much between cycles..
