Yeah... new sticks. Flowtech 75 & a FSB8. The tripod absolutely kicks butt! Never, ever, have I experienced one that could be set up/down/adjusted in SECONDS. No B.S. It Rocks.

Gonna be eating mac and cheese for a year to pay it off.

But sooooo nnnniiicccceeee! :Drogar-Love(DBG):

LOL There are worse things than mac and cheese! That's a great system. Carbon Fiber right? Nice and light. The head is excellent. I think JR has one of the heads.

Congrats very nice sticks, I'm so jealous - I had to pick up one of these Manafrotto's - looks like they modeled their pod especially for the DVX200 with an exact color match right down to the handle! LOL

The trick to good mac and cheese is to add some cream and a lot of cheese.
But I think you are so pumped up over your sticks, you will probably work harder and pay for the new tripod in no time.
A good investment!

Now, stop it, doggonit! I have a perfectly workable tripod system at the moment and don't need to spend money on that combo. But I keep finding myself in these threads talking about those flow tech legs... :grin:

Yeah I’m a Sachtler fan. I have a huge Video 18 head which is great for studio work but not so great for low profile ENG work. I have to resort to my Manfrotto 502 head which is clunky and disgusting. I’d much rather have a FSB8. #jelly lol

Oh, I don’t know a thing about Flowtech.

(A few minutes later...)

Ok, now I know abot Flowtech. Still not as good as those old O’Connor single-lever quick release sticks.

I looked for those O'Conner quick release sticks for almost a year. Was hoping maybe I could find some used on E-Bay. Nothing seemed to surface. Quick deployment and repositioning was a priority for me and these flowtech thingies turn that trick pretty well. Now that I popped for them, I'm sure O'Conner will put out a release that they are back in production any day now.... :Drogar-Kriz(DBG):
