Novoflex or Voightlander?

I'm new to the FS100 and many of you here will have about a years worth of experience with adapters.

I have read many threads on Nikon F to E mount adapters and it looks like you can get lucky with some of the cheap adapters others area disaster. So I decided to go Novoflex or Voightlander which are both about the same price in the UK.

Could any owners of either adapter give any feedback. Has your adapter worn well?

Do both adapters work with D and G Nikons or just D?

Any increase in sensor reflection using these?

Any help will be gratefully received.

Cheers

I have the Novoflex and it´s just perfect. Extremely solid, works with nikon glass that has no iris ring and even looks good.

Thank you both for replying.

Can I ask what the aperture movement is like? Not too loose?

Thanks again

Thanks for the advice. It would be nice to hear from a voightlander owner if there is one?

The cheapest place I can find the Novoflex is video gear.co.uk at £121 ex.

Novoflex + Nikon 50mm is less ££s than the Sony 50mm E mount lens so it's a no brainier to go with an adapter.

You get autofocus and autoiris with the Sony lens.

That's a good point. The Sony also has OSS but I have the stock lens for auto and OSS if necessary albeit not quite so fast as F1.8.

I have limited funds and have put together a list of lenses that hopefully give me good overage from 16mm to 85mm + Kit lens for the less controlled situation where autofocus could be useful.

I make promos (not broadcast) so the emphasis is on a great image to sell the product so it'll generally be used on tripods, sliders, dollies and steadicams etc.

Cheers

My Novoflex adapter has arrived, very thankful for the advice. The build quality is superb and the aperture wheel is reassuringly firm but smooth.

I highly recommend it.
