Novoflex Adapter MFT/NIK

not sure.. I'm curious though.

The price pretty much kicked me in the nutz. So I'm stuck with the bolt!

Get Canon FD adapter from ciecio7
Get Nikon to FD (or FD to Nikon?!) adapter from eBay
Use both on top of each other. No vignetting.
Together around 90$

Last night I went ahead and got the jinfinance Nikon to GH1 adapter on ebay. It seems like it could be a while before an adapter with aperture control becomes available.

Just to be sure, the benefit of using both a Canon FD adapter and Nikon adapter is that you have both options, right? Is there more to it as well?

Yes

Also because the Nikon to FD is only around 10-15$

Better than paying for two 80$ adapters

Aperture and AF control would require some kind of electronics right? Do these kinds of adapters even exist for other cameras?

The novoflex lets you change aperture without electronics. You turn a ring on the adapter and a little rod jutting into the lens housing changes aperture.

It doesn't do AF. Although, apparently there is a Nikon to 4/3 adapter that gives you focus confirm: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showpost.php?p=1714120&postcount=36

If that could be married to a m43 to 4/3 adapter maybe AF confirm would pass through. Does anybody know? For that matter, would that solve the aperture problem as well for Nikon G lenses?

Looks like the 11-16.
exactly what I thought
11-16 f2.8 DX fast, very wide
and a bolt to control DX and G iris similar to underdahls (see link) except on a micro 4/3rds to nikon F

I already pm'd upshot. I hope he responds with some love.
C'mon upshot ... share the knowledge

EDIT: looking closely it might be two adapters in there (?)

Hey sorry for the late response... Yes there are two adapters. The hawkpeng mFT -> c-mount then a c-mount -> nikon . This is the 'offical' nikon to c-mount adapter with a plunger. Obviously the big ol nut changes the aperture. I just have to guess where I'm at!

Ingenious – so with the C mount are you getting vignetting?
BTW you are the hot topic in conversation over at this thread LINK
