Noob Gh2 Lens Question

So I know that the m43 standard has a smaller sensor than that canon dslr's and a 20mm would be around a 40mm regular lens, so would this mean that if I use a nikon 50mm lens with a m43 adapter on my gh2 that it would be more like a 100mm equivalent due to the sensor?

A 50mm lens will always be a 50mm lens, no matter what you put it on. The field of view would change to what you stated if it were equavalent to A full frame sensor.

As stated above the lens never changes but the field of view from the camera sensor does. Look at the crop ratio from each camera and then multiply that number by the lens length to get your field of view.

50mm:

Full Frame - 50mm
Canon 1.6x - 80mm
GH2 2x - 100mm
