GH3 Noise reduction software

I am currently using iMovie to edit my footage. I shot a family event at the weekend and some of the footage has some noise present
in the image.

It appears Neatvideo plugin requires a more Pro orientated program than iMovie.

Is there a standalone program to help reduce Video noise that I could apply to my footage
as I did not want to upgrade my software at present.

There is but it costs close to what FCPX would cost you anyway. I don't think you are going to find anything even remotely close to free.

You could try Avidemux. It's a free, standalone video converter with a healthy selection of filters, including a de-noise filter. I've used it from time to time and the results aren't bad, perhaps not quite on par with Neatvideo, but good enough considering the price ($0). I have no experience with the Mac version of the app, but I presume that it works just as well as the other ports.
