"BROKEN SHADOWS" is a tale of redeemed love. What is supposed to be the happiest day of her life becomes the worst, as Erica finds herself standing alone at the altar. But hidden in the shadows of her broken heart is a passion and a desire to seek out the love of her life. A chance encounter brings her face to face with the man she lost, only to find he doesn't know her and he has found a new love. Can Erica find the courage to let him have his new life and new love? Or will she destroy everyone's life in a desperate plea to save her own?

Announced "Broken Shadows" officially. Script in progress, casting in progress.

Daniel Noa has signed on as Co-Director. This will be the third film co-directed by the team of Brandon Rice & Daniel Noa, the other two being, "A Price Too High" and the soon to be released, "Smuggler's Ransom"

Released synopsis online.

Will Larry be inking this one for you as well, or will he be focusing on "featuring-out" Checkmate?

Larry's workin' hard on this one... we'll be working out Checkmate later on... hoping we can do something with that next year :)

Instead of updating the thread through posts... I'll be modifying the first page with updates, etc. during the process. I am quite excited about this film. A synopsis and tagline should be up tomorrow. I will also be looking at some locations and getting some ideas on cast as well. Thanks.
 
coolio brandon. I think that's how a lot of features are made. developed stories that in no way could fit within 6 minutes.

Thanks Justin... yeah, Checkmate was just too much for 6 min. We are striving to make Broken Shadows fit just right into the time alotted :)
 
It wasn't easy to turn loose of CHECKMATE after having spent so many hours with the script, but in the end I had to agree with Brandon that we were trying to cram too much story into too little time. I'm excited about the future of that project, could turn out pretty cool.

But now, back to BROKEN SHADOWS. I am very excited about this project as it is a story idea I have toyed with for almost a year now, but didn't have the motivation to sit down and write it. Now I have that motivation and I'm anxious to see how it turns out :)
