Hi all,

just to let you know that my last shor movie is online.
I made it specially for the Parallel Lines contest and it was shot entirely on my Canon 7D.
I hope you'll like it.

Cheers

very nice! Although I am sick of shooting and killing , the idea of a waterless world and the FX were done well!

Some of the SFX shots just didn't work for me but they were very ambitious! I also didn't see why they would just start walking down the middle of the street with the machines flying around in the background. They didn't seem to be trying to hide?

Aside from that I loved it. The idea was great and the acting was pretty good as well. Some really nice camera work too. Nice going. Very interesting story.

I don't think we needed the word 'water' right on the bottle. We can get it without that.

Nice work overall.

That was really awesome. Cinematography and production design are spectacular. If you're at liberty to say, I was wondering if you might share what the budget and time spent on it was?

I was very impressed with it until the barrage of CG came at me. I'm not a fan of tons of CG. I understand here why it was done, but I'm just bigger on practical effects. Some of the CG spots weren't believable, and thats the biggest flaw I see in doing CG especially on a minimal budget. Otherwise, great job!

Great work! The CG shot of the young lady hanging on the roof where we see her from a distance...sort of give it away. Other than that. The story and the filming was great. You have a great sense of story telling that is just as important as well as filming.

Hi,
I've used these lenses :

  • Canon EF 24mm f/1.4 L USM II
  • Zeiss ZE 50mm f/1.4
  • Zeiss ZE 85mm f/1.4
And for the bank attack sequence, we've used a Canon EFS 18-55mm (because of the short focal)

Those Carl Zeiss lens are the Rolls Royce of lenses.
