NO Moire alternative if 70D

All we own Canon Bodies and lenses, and don't want to start a new system, but let say 70D has Moire, that will mean 4 more years with the same sensor for APS-C
and is possible, since Canon want to sell clean video image from Cinema cameras only. SO WHAT , this seems to be a good alternative to start with a minimum investment
a Non Moire Big Chip camera

I think APS-C is better for video, crop is nice to focus and use of telephoto lenses, Mark III is soft and is not 1080, Mosaic looses light and sharpness, This Lumix has a very nice image
1080 60P, and the cost is funny only $ 750 with kit lens

Those ads are embarrassing. It's unbelievable they would have the nerve to post those :(

I have both a T3i and G6. The G6 is a very nice cam. It has all the features I need in a super light weight package that no other cam made can compare with. The G6 and three lenses is lighter than just a canon 70-200 L lens by its self.

With such a great cam on the market, why Panasonic would resort to posting such lame promo pieces is beyond comprehension.

cheers,
Pete

Yeah, that's the one botch of the camera. You think they'd have fixed that by the 7100.

It's really not as big an issue for me though as my Nikon lenses all have aperture rings

As long as you use manual glass, it's a non issue(Nikon) . But back to the Pani ad, it's ridiculous. Why would they post it? Because the majority of people are clueless, they have no idea as how to use a camera in manual mode, and rely on full auto, so when they see this commercial, their sold. It's creative marketing, in a smart way. Their targeting the easily persuaded mindset of the populace.

Na Na , The image quality of the camera is amazing, of course using it manually, besides has not Moire, check yourself You tube G6 Footage , All camera have automatic options, but all we know Manual is the way to go.
All they want is to get Canon's customers with a clean video, The Pro is the Man not the camera and that apply to any camera, Of course if the camera has Moire is like dirty picture, it can happen right there where
you needed a clean image, To start a new system is expensive but 4 more years is more expensive.

Sharpness is amazing. Image quality, not so much. I like my cameras with as much DR as possible. For me, Nikon is a lot better than Panasonic right now.

The G6 isn't even close when it comes to low light ability, dynamic range and color depth. It has other features I find essential, but if image quality were my only priority, I'd be looking elsewhere quickly.

Let see the initial testing with Canon 70D, One thing I'll not buy any more is Moire Aliasing, So we have Lumix and Nikon, Numbers are a dangerous point to follow, I'll rather see actual footage from both cameras

...and don't forget the bmpcc , and you get a nice m43 mount as well in case you also buy the g6
