NO audio in after effects

Not trying to be rude but it sounds to me that someone needs to pick up their manual or buy a legal copy of of After Effects. Ripped off software does nothing but raise the prices for everyone else. I'm not implying you stole it but threads like this are 99% of the time started by someone with illegal software and no manual.

I don't know. I've purchased 2 copies (7.0 and CS4), and I haven't picked up the manual. I've never picked up the FCS books either. They're so long, so thick, and I don't learn that way. I learn from hands on, video tutorials, and having someone explain it when I have questions (classes, etc).

The OP puts very little effort into trying to resolve issues on his own. It's one thing to run into problems when working with AE and ask for help on the forums. But expecting a forum to teach you everything with little to effort on your own is just plain lazy. The questions in this thread are about basic audio and the Render Que. Fundamental things than can be found in less than a minute using the help feature built into AE. This forum is not meant to replace a tutor. If the OP wants to learn the basics he should either take a class or read the manual. This spoon feeding stuff gets old fast.

ok, but...what was the problem and how did you fix it? Just in case anybody else might have the same issue someday...

...He keeps asking questions, but doesnt tell how he solved the problem? :crybaby:

I have the same problem..

I dont like that he didnt take the time to explain how he did solve it. That should be a demand from forums like these, that the person asking a question has to write down how it was eventually solved afterwards. :dankk2:

I would answer and tell how I resolve my issues but there seems to be a lot of people on this website that don't belong helping people... if people ask questions regardless of how easy the answer is they should be willing to help... sorry to the people who have run into the same problems and were looking for an answer... I honestly haven't answered because of the rued remarks from some of the people on here... they are the ones that turn people off to the site... I'm not one of those people that get into bitching matches on the computer... if u read someones thread and u don't need to comment then don't.

How ironic.

You know, people here are VERY willing to help but at some point they might just feel being exploited.

Well if a much more experienced film maker has a problem with given suggestions then he shouldn't be answering the less experienced film makers threads, its as simple as that. I know I don't need arogant people leaving me comments on my threads.... If a person doesn't answer for a while it might be cuz there busy learning and not on their computer all the time...and there are people who are willing to help and their the ones that make this website worth being on. For the rest that are on this site to belittle other film makers get a life!
