Speaking of the Ninja Blade... I've been using it for about a month and a half now. In terms of configuration, I haven't done much with it. Pretty much just attached it to my C100 with a Manfrotto ball head, plugged it in, made sure files were recording onto it, and was off and running, capturing files in ProRes HQ like a champ. My question is -- is there anything I really need to do to make sure the thing is calibrated properly with the C100, other than what's already been done? I've noticed that the default image represented on the Blade pretty much matches what I see on my editing timeline (as opposed to the image on the C100 LCD, which always looks a bit whiter). On the other hand, I've observed that the zebras on the Ninja Blade are telling me I'm overexposed on my highlights quite differently than the zebra patterns on the C100 LCD do. I've found that the zebras on the C100 are more accurate. Haven' t really played with the waveform on the Blade, so not sure how it compares. Thoughts? Anything you guys like to adjust/prefer?
