C100: Ninja Blade and Canon BP-9XX?

So I've been seriously considering getting a Ninja Blade but I really REALLY don't want to buy another set of batteries.

Is there any way to power the Ninja Blade with Canon BP-9XX batteries. Maybe an adapter of some sort?

Yes and no. The Canon battery doesn't have a way to power the Blade, but you can get a Swit S-8845 battery that does indeed have a DC out. You would then need to get the Atomos adapter that uses a dummy battery going to P/D-tap, and then a cable that goes from P/D-tap to the correct DC barrel of the Swit.

To be honest, it's not really worth it. The Swit battery doesn't last as long as the Canon batteries do, and it will deplete even quicker if it's powering the Blade. Keeping a few large Sony L-series batteries is cheaper and easier, I think. But, definitely skip the Atomos charger and get a charger that shows charge levels, it makes a huge difference.
