"OK the specs might not be exactly the correct ones, I just to want to know how would the nikors work, if the adapter is a good buy, or probably need to start thinking about buying a 11-16mm Tokina. I Just want to be able to have the confidence take most Jobs for recording, I have a 50mm 1.8 and 18-55 mm (Fair Enough).

All,

Am thinking about buying a adapter for my Canon T3I, to use Nikors 12-24mm 2.8 & 18-50mm 2.8 that my friend owns.

Do you guys this would be a good investment to make.

Input on the quality of the lenses, any input given will be appreciated.

Are you sure on those specs, and that they're Nikkor-branded? I can't seem to find either of those lenses out there. Anyway, if they're modern lenses for autofocus cameras, probably not a good idea; Nikon-to-Canon adapters are only going to work for manual focus, not autofocus.

12-24mm is f/4, the 14-24mm is f/2.8

why would you want AF for video? It doesn't work well on Canon for video anyway in the first place.

Those are decent lenses. (I assume you are talking about the Sigma 18-50, which is far better than the 18-55 kit lens that I assume is the one you own.)

Both have electronic aperture control rather than mechanical, so any adapter will need to incorporate an aperture control gizmo like these.
