Nikor 50mm f1.8 work on GH1?

Will this lens work on the GH1 with a nikon adapter?

From looking at the pic I think this has a manual focus and aperture rings.

and what would the diffence be vs a Canon f1.4?
 
Reason I ask is because it seem everyone on this forum preaches for the canon 50mm f1.4, I didn't know if nikor + panasonic = fail. LOL!

I guess from what I gather the canon FD 50mm f1.4 and the nikor AF 50mm f1.8 are about the same price.
 
Yes it works, with an adapter. Full manual and you have to change the camera conf. to allow for "foreign" lens.
