That could very well be the first actual D90 photo! The video function put the still camera part out of commission for a while.

"Oh yeah, this thing shoots photo's too!"

I've taken more photos than frames of video so far (possibly).

Is it true that the shutters only last for 10,000 pictures? I've probably already used 1000...

That also mean that each picture costs a dime if you think of it that way.

I think it depends on the camera. I want to say cameras like the D50/D80 were tested to 100K, the D200/D300 are tested to 150K, and the D3's are like 300K.

Like Andrew said, they can run much longer lives though.

Wow, Totolo. A street with no one on it in what it seems to be golden hour and completely silent in LA?!

It's an alley behind a restaurant at Wishire and Doheny (Kate Mantellini's, where they shot the diner scene between De Niro and Pacino in "Heat".)

And believe it or not I did very little touch up on this, the smog really does make those incredible sunsets in LA.

I did a little shoot for a day spa in Santa Monica. Here are some of the products:
Nikon D60 with Nikon 100mm E Series:

If memory serves, this may have been the Nikkormat Non AI 50mm F/ 1.4:

I just shot with a Hasselblad for the first time! Very interesting piece of equipment! And I have about 8 strobes that I can play with as well! Woot!!!! And I am finally getting to shoot with the Red and the Phantom HD. The company that I just started work has all this equipment to work with. I feel like I am in a Candy Store! And I am getting paid to work there!!!

Matt, I made a number of adjustments to levels in Lightroom to make it work as well as it is. The original was difficult to see anything. The only other thing I knew to do was to create different layers in PS and work it that way, but it was not bothering me enough for the effort. I just thought it looked like something a doctor might have hanging in his waiting room or something. Not my normal "style"....assuming I have one. HEHE.
