(yes, they all have smudges on the mirror, and I haven't bothered to clean them up)

Hey Film...I LOVE this picture! Its busy but not distracting, its very warm and cozy...the detail is sharp. This pic is a keeper.

Alveraz,

Here is some critiquing:

The first shot is definitely a weird looking shot. It is over exposed and there is really nothing that parts her from the background. It looks like she is a part of the background? Where did you take the picture at?

The second shot:
There is to much going on. She is not on the rule of thirds which I was drawn to and the shirt that she choose to wear is definitely the wrong shirt for that shot. My eyes are drawn right to the shirt and then to the ambulance, not to her.

Just to let you know, I like your shots and every shot is enjoyable. But this rack of photos is definitely not your best.

Thanks man, no harm. I was trying some new ideas and she really wanted some different stuff. I usually work with thirds and rarely overexpose (knock on wood) but I went out on an artistic limb. I enjoy these shots and she really digs it too. As long as she's happy, I'm happy :)

For the first shot we wanted a cool blue look and a slight breeze. Something to contrast her worn look, went with tungsten softbox for key against white seamless BG, with a daylight bulb for hair (different lights, I know). Though she is looking left here most are straight on. For the second image she wanted street, 70's, dark and moody. I got lucky with the ambulance and then really jacked up the sharpening mask, added some noise and tweaked the colors a little. Just having fun but I enjoyed it knowing exactly what we were getting into.

Thoughts appreciated. :)

Alveraz,
Your welcome. Like you said, if she is happy then you are happy. That is exactly what you want! Great otherwise keep them coming!

Theodore,
Kick A*@ pictures. What is the lens? That helps out a lot!
