Nikon to M 4/3 adapter questions.

I've been looking at the fotodiox adapters on amazon, since I had some good luck with their brand of the minolta - m4/3 adapter.

If I understand correctly the adapter for the nikon g series allows for aperature control, which should be the only difference between this adapter and the standard nikon lens adapters. So if I'm correct, all nikon lenses should be able to fit on the G series adapter.

Has any one had any experience with these lenses? Or would anyone know for sure what works on each kind?

Thanks everyone.

I'm using the adapter with aperture control with some AIS manual lenses. These lenses have aperture rings so you can set it without using the adapter's aperture control ring. It works great although the focus distance marks on the lens don't work properly any more.

For G lenses without aperture rings, you can use the adapter to go from wide open to fully stopped down, although you won't be able to tell the exact f-stop number.

The F mount Nikon lenses will work with the G mount adapters. Nikon did a really good job of making their cameras backwards compatible. I'm not sure how well an aperture ring on an adapter would work though. I'd stick to legacy lenses to maintain aperture control, but thats just me.
