Nikon to EOS--need AF confirm or not?

I will purely (99%) use the Nikon lens for video mode--should i buy a kawaphoto adapter for $10 or one that can use AF confirm for $30?

I would go with the AF makes it easier to set up quick, where are you getting it for $30?

ebay lol----hmmm except the ebay one wont get here in time---ill probably get a $10 one and a $20 one---it should fit the 20-35mm fine? thanks!

I've bought a kawa, I haven't tested it extensively yet, but the build quality was good.. Identical to the fotodiox, which is twice as expensive..

What adapter do you see for $30 that supports AF confirm?

Love them: instant audible OK notification for focus, switch to live view and start recording. Also, they are great in stills mode too.

Who did you buy from?

There's also a guy that just sells the chip.. Im assuming it doesnt actually communicate with the lens, its kinda sillly that it even needs the chip for AF assist.. Or I am wrong here? Any idea how hard/easy it would be to add it to the existing kawa adapter.. the chips are like $8-
