Nikon rumors about the launch of a professional mirror less camera in April

Sounds to me Nikon is finally stepping there game up in the video industry. I also heard today, maybe it's old news but Nikon is releasing a cam that once you take a picture you can project the image right onto a wall. Is this true? If so it'd be great for on-site photographers to display there images without having to bring computers etc!

They've had this for a while....it's just a compact camera though. (Not professional) Maybe this is something (new) professional? The other one was only 320x240? I think they already have 2 versions now.

Maybe not "pro" cameras, but they did make several Very high end Super8 cameras.

Heh...good point. :) I actually have the 10mm lens for this cam. Thanks for posting.

I am looking to upgrade my camera this spring and hope to see some detailed specs on this rumored camera before March.

Oh man I jumped on the HDSLR train right away with the D90 and have regretted it since. As a prosumer user I'm fine with my HMC150 and brevis adaptor for now but it's painful to see the video these 5D Mark II owners are shooting and with much less effort. I'm up to my ears in expensive nikon glass and I'm soooooo close to selling it all for a Mark II rig. I will wait a few more months to see if this rumor pans out. Surely Nikon want's a piece of the prosumer videographer pie. I simply can't use my D90 for video...it sucks.

The D7000 video is looking pretty good. I'm holding out to see what the D400 or D800 might bring.
