ok so since no where has the novoflex in stock im look at either the voightlander or the bower one.... someone i know uses the voightlander and had to adapt it to be more secure on the camera, are there any other ones that are potentially better then the voightlander or the bower? i kinda need this like yesterday lol.

any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I found the voightlander to be a perfect fit on my camera. And it's a great adapter, though it doesn't have aperture control for the Nikon's. Maybe he got a bad one, I find mine to be great.

ya unfortunately that one is out of stock as well i did how ever just find a store that says there getting stock on the novoflex tomorrow, so we will see. the only thing im not a fan of is the aperture ring on the adapter.

I ordered this one from Rainbow Imaging. Lots of people around here use them and seem to be happy with it.

I havnt recieved it yet but its inexpensive at $29.90. The adapter has iris control. I would try it and wait for the Novoflex to be available.

Get in touch with adaptimax as they shipped one to me from England on a Monday and it got to me in Dallas tx on Wednesday morning by 10am for ~$36 in shipping. I would say they're the best since the aperture thumbscrew is so precise and rugged. And they were in stock. Further Steve Shovlar is active on the forum and took great care of me. PM me if you need his direct email address. The adapter is $400, but it's worth it...

That's what I got. I've had it for a year and used it on my GH1 and I love it. I've used the Novaflex once and other than the slick look I can't understand why it costs more.

Sweet, you think that the one without the aperture ring performs the same?

Darn - if you'd posted a day earlier, I had an extra Novoflex. Traded it in on the Voigtlander.

The Voigtlander fit and finish is AMAZING. Tighter fit than the Novoflex with less "play" (at least on the samples I bought).

But I think these two are the best-in-class (with the Novoflex getting the nod if you require aperture control; turns out I didn't, so it saved me a hundred bucks to go with the Voigtlander).

Drop me a line if you still need one of these, as I might have a line on either.

That's good to hear! Mine should arrive next week.

A side note. I like the Fotodiox adapters. I wish they would make a version for Canon EOS to M4/3 with iris control. I got one yesterday from them for Canon EOS and it fits nice and tight and works really well. Also have a Fotodiox Nikon to Canon EOS adapter that is a pro version.
