Nikon D750

What I would love to see is a side by side (Cinelike D contrast and sharpness at minimum and Nikon flat also minimum settings)

-Detail test. Any wide scene. Really anything. 4K at 24p vs nikon 1080p at 24p. It would be great if the same lens could be used on both, and compensate the change in focal length by moving the gh4 farther, and stop down the d750 to 2x the gh4 aperture to get the same depth of field (for example f4 on gh4 and f8 on d750)

-lowlight side by side ramping

-Skin. Just two shots of the same person with each camera.

-It would be very helpful too shoot anything at 24p, and 60p, and the dx crop, just to see if there's a quality hit on any of these modes.

If you want to do a test of sharpness of the Nikon, it is better not to use a wide detailed shot because it is going to strain the codec, the result is that the codec with its limited bandwidth will blur the image to save bandwidth. Form my experience using a Ninja with the D7100, as the detail go up in the image the difference between the high bitrate and internal codec becomes bigger in terms of sharpness and detail. This is why I always recommend to have an image that has lot of detail/sharpness in only part of the image and low movement so that the codec does not blur the image and you can judge sharpness in this part of the image, unless you have a Ninja and can record at 200 mbit, then the scene can be as detailed as you want.

Link with downloadable .MOV file. I find the high ISO to be very good, virtually no noise at 1600 and 3200 and just a little at 6400. A high level of detail is also kept even at high ISO. There is quite a sharp degradation at 12800, but the scene with the shutter speed is causing a lot of strobing with the artificial light. This I think is stressing a lot the codec. So it could be degrading the image a bit more.
