Nikon D5300 Question

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the shutter button from taking a photo?

I.E. Being able to press the button halfway or more to focus during filming, but not taking a picture if you press it too hard?

The D7100 lets you switch the shutter release to video trigger.

I suppose you could open your owner's manual (or download one?) and see what the 5300 has in that regard?
