I have been on the hunt for a fast lens 35mm or smaller and came across this Nikon lens

It's fast at 1.8 and has a focal range of 35mm so this might be the lens I'm looking for. Will a Nikon to Canon eos work and has anyone used this lens?

The Lense has to Have a Manual Aperture Ring, the Canon Will Not Electronicaly Control it.. So if it does then good, but the One in the Picture does not seem to have it. I use a 24mm f 2.8 Nikkor,50 f1.8, and 105.f2.5, they are super sharp lenses.

50mm is to long of a focal length for what I record, hence the reason me wanting 35mm or smaller. Also I see what you are saying that it looks like it might not have an aperture ring.... Hopefully someone can chime in and tell me if it does?

I have been using Nikon manual lenses, the 35f2 Ai is a surprise, nicely damped with that 60's flavor
of Nikon color, also the same with 35F2 AF-D, both have apertures, but the D isn't as well damped.

A big surprise was the 85f2 @ 2.8, a dog on still camera but nice on video

The 50 1.8 was sharp but didn't have the contrast. I went for the Canon 50 1.4 AF also.

I think there is an Adapter out there that Holds Down the aperture gear/lever at the Back of the Lense at 1.8 but you wont be able to control it. it stays open at 1.8. this is for lenses without the aperture ring. So the Cheaper one shown above can be used....
