Meh, some good stuff cut with some bad stuff, (lighting mostly, never a damn lighting kit around when you just wanna pick up and shoot) just to see where I am with this very short scene.

As before...some DVX (24p this time) mixed with some vx2100 that's been magic bullited to death. Any comments welcome

I'm on a mac, it works fine. But I agree... mov's are much better for the mac user.

windows media player tells me : The request is not vallid in the current state ???

Ronik,

right click(or control click if your a one buttoner) and choose save as... Media is a Piece of **** on the mac.. so making it stream a clip causes even more problems.. I always try and download WMV clips to my HD..

Thank's for the  .mov version!  I'm now downloading the .wmv version to see if it works.

I remember when you posted the earlier version of this, a few weeks ago. This one looks much better. Great stuff! Disturbing, but great.

I'm on a mac and the .wmv version worked fine. When I clicked on your link, a blank page came up and the file just downloaded to my desktop through the download's manager, then opened automatically in my windows media player.

About the clip:
Looked great. Nice and creepy. Don't know what the hell I just watched, but it was bloody and gory, lol... You combined the dvx and vx2100 nicely.

Where'd you get the music and SNDFX hits? Original or no?

That looked very good! Silly obsessive question of mine, but what did you use for the blood on the hand scraping across the concrete floor? And how much was that "bloody look" enhanced by any color correction in that shot?

Am I the only one who wasn't able to control click the .mov version? I'm downloading the wmv instead, but I'm also on a mac, and really dislike wmv's in general.

Just curious if I was the only one with that problem.

Not original, well sort of not.  Remixed trailer music from various recent horror movies...sped up and reversed, chopped and pitch shifted...and then thrown in a blender.

Karo Syrup, food coloring and a smidge of Photoflo for consistancy.  Of coarse you could always pick up Ben Nye Stage blood, always a fantastic option.  No color correction in those cuts at all.  I think it just contrasted nicely with the greenish floor, (and I had decent lighting for that one.  That always helps:)

Great idea for a new scene, DEATH BY CHEESE.  There are cities in wisconsin, it's not all dairy farmers and cheese factories.    ;D

and really dislike wmv's in general.

Me to! I'll be making the switch to MAC as soon as I can pay off my two DVX's :-/
