Night Time Video

Just random shots at 11pm on the walk back from class. A lot of shots are duplicates of ones in my "summer in winter" thread's video because I wanted to see what they looked like with zero sun. There is a lot of noise in some of the shots too cause I boosted the gain when it was too dark.

Its small

here are 4 stills from it, they are large-photoshop not working

i think they were mobsters^

Whoa, this is DVX? Wish my DVX looked this good. I saw no noise. Good shots.

yea amazingly clear... and even at night. i cant even get my dvx to be visible at night, let alone great quality

very nice:)

loved the blue allyway(is that right?)..
Though I have to ask.. what shutter did you use? 1/24 or something?

Steve,

Glad to see that 'the mobsters' didn't catch you filming them or you might be sleepin' wit da fishes about now.

What kind of settings did you use to get such clear night shots?

Cheers,

John

i was pretty far from the mobsters flam, i am lucky to be alive. im pretty sure i set all my settings to zero before i went out because i was messing with scene files. actually my master ped was -5, everything else was zero and the rest were whatever f5 is default like gama and knee and that stuff

i really only shot stuff that was lit. most of the statues and what not had spot lights shining on them . i just used curves in vegas to get the non lit background as black as possible

hmm.. okey, cause you can like see it in the movement.. It get's sort of videoish.. I would "rather" go with mid gain and 1/50 shutter (or maybe 1/60 for NTSC)..

but whatever!

The images are sweet:)
hehe
