A series of night sky/star field timelapse sequences shot with 7D.

hey man great work I love this stuff I am an astronomy student at FGCU and would love to do some stuff like that wit my 7D please give more details if you want if its a secret I understand... but if you feel like sharing please... lens, shutter, iso, f-stop... and did you use a timer mechanism... thanks man and again good work

Sure, no secrets here.
It was all with a Canon 17-55 (all at 17), always around f/3.5. ISO varies but kept it somewhat low (640?) to reduce noise, and the shutter of course was VERY long, around 25 seconds average. I did use an intervalometer for these. I bought the cheaper OPTEK one instead of the Canon, for half the price, it did everything I needed.

A friend of mine had the exact same question and he came up with this answer -

"I have discovered some strange objects by enhancing the moments in question with a special filter"

It looks like TX night sky to me, so I'm not surprised to see flying saucers. But that second object needs explanation!
