Glorious!!! Just glorious footage!!! I love the organic feel of the dvx100b. HD can appear to perfect and less organic.

Doesn't the PAL dvx have a little bit more lines of vertical resolution?

Yeah a bit more. 1050x576 I think, not completely sure in fact.. It might be 1024x576
And thanks christriplet!

Ridiculous- you mean the DVX I just sold last summer was capable of doing that?!!! (I know, I know...it's also the user--sweet work).
I am thoroughly impressed w/ this- I even expanded to fill screen and it still looked really, really good!!
Hmmmm- sell the GH1- buy back the DVX??--if it weren't for the "real-time tape capture" work flow I'd a held on to it longer.
Very, Very nice work Tommetass!!

Haha
I've been watching it a bit.
I'm impressed with the camera work actually... Some of the shots looks like they have a really high shutter, so it looks kind of filmlike sometimes.

yeah some of the packages that they've put together between the events have some great looks to them. Really nice night-time timelapses, etc. def filmic...they (big networks) are catching on.
