Nice name: REDCODE RAW

Well, sorry to burst your cumulative bubble guys, but I believe the term "REDCODE" was already in use by RED when they had the very first version of the website up. Do a search for REDCODE in the forums and you'll very plainly see that neither of you were the first to use it. Anyway, that terms been around since the 80's... it was actually a programming language for a video game called Core War.
Not trying to make anybody feel bad, but gotta set the facts straight.

I wasn't referring to Redcode, just the term Redcode Raw.

The idea of compressing RAW isn't all that new and is used in the Silicon Imaging camera.

Not after royalties, just pointing this out for fun!

Redcode Raw, as far as I can tell, was actually first used by John Allardice, a fellow poster on this board. Regardless of who came up with the term, I'm excited about actually using it!
