That's because Bob sanders was out for that game if I remember correctly. The Patriots are two physical for the colts defense. I'll give you six and the game is in Indy.
I'd take that bet. Brady may have a little fear when Freeny jacks him with a couple of late hits. I think the colts will take the penalties just to knock brady off his game (like brushing a batter back).

Go PACK!

I think the only thing that might be able to take down Tom Brady right now is a Chuck Norris roundhouse, even that I doubt, Brady probably duck it and then throw a 90 yard bomb over the stadium.

see the problem with that is that Brady has never shown a moment of fear in an NFL game. Peyton Manning on the other hand has had noticeable happy feet in the pocket in the earlier games between the two teams. (He has settled down recently in the last 3). We'll see which manning shows up when Harrison is blitzing off the corner. The game was too close last year and the Patriots are so much better this year than last that it doesn't look like Indy can win.

They play the games for a reason, we will see.

either that or an angry linebacker from a 1-7 team that is down by 95 points in the fourth quarter after brady goes for it on 4th and 25 with 3 seconds left in the game....

Stupid Favre...

But I see a TON of potential in Jay Cutler... I'm happy with our quarterback, just not happy with our D-line at all!

I find it funny that everyone in the NFL thinks were running up the score. What are they supposed to do, stop playing the game? There was like 7 minutes left in the third quarter, it wasn't like there was two minutes left in the game. I think kicking a field goal when its 4th and 1 is a lot more disrespectful than going for it. If teams want to give up when their down by 30 points than so be it. Why should we stop playing? These guys are proffesional atheletes, they practice all week to play for 60 minutes, not 35. If your a head coach in the NFL you'd want your team to continue to play and not let up, that sends a terrible message to your players if you basically tell them to go out and play at 75% and as a coach you'd never want to see your players to stop caring about a game or think its over half way through it, there supposed to go out and play every down like the game is on the line, thats what makes championship teams.

Is it me or was that disgusting Favre-love fest simply disgusting??? Hey, I can respect the man. He is a living legend. But, don't forget that the game is being played IN Denver, one of only 8 home games...you need to make the broadcast coverage a little less nauseating and lopsided. They actually had the the b*lls to zoom in strictly on Packers fans ONLY...in the DENVER stadium. I saw more Packers fans than Bronco fans. And, I'm not just saying this because Denver is my team (though, now they are dead to me)...but from a fans perspective...show a little respect to the home team and their fans. If this game was at Lambeau Field and they spent the entire Broadcast doting on everything Bronco, I'd feel bad.

Add to that, what is with Monday Night Football anymore? Can it be about the game please? Sheesh. I want to watch my game. MY game. My team. Every play. Every snap. I don't want to hear about the lumps in Deanne Favre's breasts or the book shes peddling. Hell, I'm a big time movie fan but for the love of everything I love about football, get Vince Vaughn and every other actor-slash-promoter OUT of the booth. And take Tony Kornheiser with you. My God he's annoying. He looks like the love child of the local town drunk and the storekeeper from Petticoat Junction. Where the heck is Dan Deirdorf and Frank Gifford when you need them?

I used to LOVE when my team had the Monday Night Slot but not anymore. Its become a farce. I'll take the no-fanfare Sunday games thank you very much. Now to the game...

Favre was awesome. He is a living legend. Hes still got it. And on the NFC side of the ball hes got me rooting for him all the way. But, legend or no legend, I wanted him to trip over his center and brake his ankle. I'm a Denver fan, sue me.

Denver just out and out sucked and I don't even know where to begin. I was griping all summer about how I hated that the sportswriters were dubbing Jim Bates as a defensive guru when I just didn't see the record to back that up. And so far, he out and out couldn't coach a pee wee team let alone NFL players. His defense SUCKS. I've never seen a worse Denver team ever assembled. We win 3 games by the absolute bare minimum margin, get manhandled in the other 3 and lose the 4th because of sucky play calling. Its as if Shannahan cut off his own cahones, bronzed them and put them up on his mantle with his two Vince Lombardi trophies because he certainly isn't walking around with them anymore. He's coaching like a little girl.

We move the chains very convincingly then we what? Choke? We go for a field goal to tie? WHAT THE??? GO FOR THE WIN YOU IDIOT. If we didn't get it, set up, spike the ball stop the clock. What a freaking horrible season. I am so done with them. You think the Dolphins have it bad...at least they KNOW they suck. Try actually having hope week in and week out...only to have to sit there for 60 minutes of football to have reality slapped firmly across your face. "oh yeah, i forgot, we suck."

Kill me.

Your right, its not what you'd expect out of a Broncos team, since and during the Elway era, they've always put out a pretty tough team to play against. Definetely not there this year.

Also, I hear you on Brett Favre, the guy is great and all but man do they never stop talking about this guy and to be honest he hasn't really done a lot the past 3-4 years (this year he broke the record).

On the MNF football, at least they got rid of Thiesman, I've never seen a commentator more wrong than Thiesman, man he was bad.

I won't give up on my Broncos, but I agree the D is playing really bad, though they didn't allow any points in the second half...

The lovefest for Favre was SICK... seriously... everyone who I was watching the game with (Bronco fan or not) was commenting on it.

Wow the colts defense is better than I thought. Great game. That Indy crowd is tough too. I am looking forward to the rematch.

You do have to hand it to Brady though, the guy never gives up. great win and a bye week well deserved.

can we fast forward to the afc championship yet?

just when i thought i wouldn't have to hear anymore perfect season and greatest team of all time talk from espn every day, i get reminded that randy moss is 8 feet taller than all our defensive backs. i need a new tv station to watch until january...

As if Massachusetts needed more fuel for the fire.
from the red socks, to the patriots, to the celtics to the kennedy's, I hate Massachusetts! :crybaby:
