NFL 2007-2008 Thread

Can you imagine being a Bills fan? Four straight superbowl appearances and four straight loses, man thats got to burn.

Can you imagine living in Toronto...with all those Buffalo channels we get here...on top of all the house fires in Cheektowaga, Tonawanda, Battavia (how about updating your building codes past third world standards so your houses don't torch whenever a warm wind blows?)...all they talk about is the Bills...listening to all that hype as they progress every year...and seeing them whine on their news programs when they lose...four years straight?

Welcome to my world...can you blame us if we cheer against them?

Dude, I was on my feet for that whole onside kick and field goal thing. Rooting against Buffalo may be bad, but it feels sooo good....

Do you kick the dog when you come home, too? Why in the world would you root against a huge underdog team trying to pull off the biggest upset in recent years?

That was more of a monumentous collapse than a deserving win.

edit: haha, Desica, I posted that before your last response. I can see where you're coming from. The Redskins are the "home team" here, and I can't stand them.

I'm not a fan of the Bills either but I don't despise them as much as I do The Jets, The Habs or The Senators.

It reminded me of that Arizona Cardinals game against The Bears last year where they were just about to upset the bears but sadly tanked it in the end.

Anyone remember that Colts game a few years back where they had that like 30 point comeback? That was an incredible come from behind.

Ugafan, thats funny cos those are the games that I thought could go either way. I have a feeling that Denver is going to beat the Steelers.

Well, I wouldn't say good. Considering the Steelers scored on all 3 second half possessions. I would say, much better though.

We played much more aggressively. And finally, Shanny is trusting the kid. At this point we have no choice. We need to start spreading the field more and letting Cutler throw the ball downfield.

Hopefully, we take care of business against the Pack...

The colts also allowed 375 rushing yards and lost 44-17 to the jags last year and this year.....117 yards and beat them 29-7. Point being we have a defense now, so it should be a really good game with the pats reloaded offense.

They almost beat them last year with Caldwell as their best receiver. We will take care of the colts undefeated season in 2 weeks.

Well said. If Reche Caldwell knew how to catch a ball we would have beaten the Colts in the AFC Championship game last year. Tom Brady is looking incredible, if keeps on this pace hes not only going to beat Mannings single season touchdown pass record but he'll demolish it.

Besides from Moss, Wes Welker has been amazing for his, receiving and on special teams.

That's because Bob sanders was out for that game if I remember correctly. The Patriots are two physical for the colts defense. I'll give you six and the game is in Indy.
