Used for quick creating the new clip bin when changing to a next scene.
After finishing the last scene just click it and the next recording session goes into the next bin.
Speeds up clip managment massively.
One more click to get used to while shooting, but nothing compared to time gained in production. You really don't want to re-arrange the clips later if it can be done with no fuss on the cam itself.
The more time you loose on management - the less you have for creativity.
Combined with "quick erase bad clip" idea - does wonders in the whole production process.
The digital media and nonlinear storage provides us far greater media manipulation options than we've used so far. My experince in shooting and editing tells me there's so much more...
